Funds for Change Grant Opportunities, 2017
The National Diaper Bank Network (NDBN) is the first national membership-based network of diaper banks and programs that collect, store and distribute free diapers to families in need. NDBN’s mission is to raise awareness of diaper need, promote the development and sustainability of diaper banks, and provide strategic resources, including grant funding.

Applications for NDBN’s Funds for Change grant, now in its third year, are currently open to all NDBN members in good standing. Funds for Change grants are designed to help NDBN-member organizations achieve long-term growth and sustainability through active community engagement, effective nonprofit governance, and transparency in service to clients, partners, and supporters.

THE 2017 FUNDS FOR CHANGE GRANT PROGRAM INCLUDES TWO FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES:

MICRO-FUNDING PROGRAM GRANT

Up to $2,500. Available to any NDBN member organization in good standing, the micro-funding grant will be awarded to organizations that best demonstrate how the proposed program or project supports a plan for long-term growth and sustainability. Learn more

STRATEGIC INVESTMENT GRANT: OVERCOMING GEOGRAPHIC BARRIERS

$10,000. This grant is specifically for a program that addresses the challenges of serving hard to reach communities, such as rural populations, through the development of innovative warehousing models and diaper distribution programs. These programs will be capable of servicing areas where there are no diaper banks currently, or used as part of an existing diaper bank program to expand services to underserved areas that face challenging geographic barriers to service. THE 2017 GRANTS ARE COMPETITIVE:
