Developing Standards for Excellence
The National Diaper Bank Network has a history of success in making a difference in communities. We are currently developing a future-focused road map that will help our network grow even more. Through NDBN’s Task Force initiative, our network of local nonprofits is transforming into a more cohesive, consistent network that provides greater quality – and quantity—of positive impact on communities.

NDBN’s task force participants come from different member organizations, from a variety of roles within those organizations, and representing all kinds of diaper banks, pantries and programs. Participating organizations function on different levels, operate in different states, and vary in their organizational age and development. Individuals are selected for their expertise, their history in the organization, and their interest in the project.

Drawing from this varied pool enhances our likelihood for success because the task force’s members:

• Bring together different skills and ideas.

• Become advocates for opportunity within our network.

• Foresee potential hurdles to recommended changes.

• Build solutions into their recommendations.
