Alison Weir is the Chief of Policy, Research, and Analysis at the National Diaper Bank Network. Before joining NDBN, she was a lawyer in private practice with a large firm in New Haven. Her legal career started in 2007, after she retired from the active duty Air Force as a Lieutenant Colonel, where she was a career program manager, specializing in satellite and launch system acquisition. While in the Air Force, she also taught at the U.S. Air Force Academy, was a speechwriter for the Chief of Staff and Secretary of the Air Force. She was named a Supreme Court Fellow in 2004, with duty at the U.S. Sentencing Commission. Alison holds bachelor degrees in Electrical Engineering and English from Cornell University, an M.A. and Ph.D. in English from the University of Illinois, and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.
