Deanna is a member of the Board of Directors for The Rebecca Foundation’s Cloth Diaper Closet, a national cloth diaper bank, and runs the Philadelphia chapter. Previously from CT, her experience with cloth diapers began in 2014 after the birth of her son. She found it intimidating at first and learned all she could to make it work for her family. Shortly after, she began teaching classes to help other parents who wanted to save money with cloth diapers but were unsure of where to start. She began volunteering with TRF in 2015, expanding their reach into the New Haven area. After relocating to Philadelphia in late 2016, she continued her work with TRF and assists the foundation with advocacy projects in order to improve access to cloth diapers and reduce diaper need. Deanna has a Master of Public Health degree from Southern CT State University and has previously worked for Yale University and Planned Parenthood of Southern New England. Currently, she is a work-at-home mom with a rambunctious 3-year-old who loves to help sort through donated diapers and get them to families in need.
