CEO and Founder of Helping Mamas, Jamie Lackey is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience in the nonprofit and social services field. She has held leadership positions in healthcare, higher education and nonprofit organizations. She received her Bachelors of Social Work from the University of Tennessee and her Masters of Social Work from the University of Georgia. She is the co-founder and CEO of Helping Mamas, a nonprofit that collects and donates baby supplies to organizations who serve women and children in need. Helping Mamas was the inaugural United Way Spark Prize Winner in 2015 for having the most innovative approach to fighting poverty. She has successfully written and obtained over a million dollars in grant funding throughout her career, from government and foundation sources. Jamie is a native of Knoxville, TN and has lived in Snellville, GA with her husband and family since moving to GA in 2000.
