Susan Van Ness is the Chief of Programs at the National Diaper Bank Network. As a single, working mother, Susan experienced diaper need firsthand. She sewed cloth diapers while earning her Associate’s degree in multimedia. Fascinated by the crossroads of internet culture and social justice, Susan earned her Bachelor’s degree in American Studies from Wesleyan University. Prior to NDBN, Susan worked as a community organizer in her hometown, Middletown, CT and as an administrative coordinator at Yale School of Public Health.
